Healthily Eating Pod Cast

I made two comments on Lynette's post thinking I was doing my own post then I figured out how to do it correctly, yay me. hahaha

Ok I tried to post a link before but it only put the URL address so here is the link this time.

This is a link to a podcast I listen to called The Cultural Hall. The topic of this episode is healthy eating and I found it very interesting especially the part about milk. I would love to discuss this with you all as those who haven't heard it think I am a bit crazy. Download it to your phone or ipod or whatever and listen while you clean, workout or drive around, I think you will like it.

  2. Thank you for sharing that pod cast! I loved all the dr had to say. It makes complete sense to me. I know what I need to do but I loved hearing things like this to reaffirm it to me. At dinner tonight, I told my family how good it was and that I want each of them to listen to it. My kids aren't super excited about our new healthy lifestyle but they're pretty smart kids and I feel that if they listen, they'll start to really get it. Thanks again!

  3. I really enjoyed this pod cast, I liked the casual take on it, but also the very real facts. Did anyone else feel a little taken back w/ the fact that the medical Dr.'s we pay to help us feel better have NO training in medical school on nutrition!! What is wrong w/ this picture?? And the other fact that our insurance company's do not cover us to see people who are trained in nutrition to help us stay healthy! What a crazy world we live in; I scratch your back you scratch mine. I listened to it while I was cleaning the kitchen and making dinner and Paige heard a lot of it. The bonus is.... she doesn't want milk anymore either! Now we have milk and no one to drink it, I guess I will have to make cookies for the boys to drink it up! Claudine anymore like this you find post them!

  4. I found this very interesting and loved the candidness of the dr. We didn't drink much milk to begin with but this made brought a whole new light on things.

  5. Yes very shocked that they don't do much schooling on nutrition. I'm really not surprised about the milk. I actually gave it up years ago because of another diet I did. I still occasionally use it in cereal but that's all. It's always congested me too. I'm hoping I'll be able to convince my family to stop drinking it. This pod cast makes me wanna track this doc down and become a new patient:).
